Willis Ross IV

Founder & CEO

Hello, my name is Willis Ross IV, Founder & CEO of Men Cultivating Men. I grew up in Marietta, GA, but my family is originally from Mississippi where our roots grow deep and strong. Both of my parents come from families of 9. Coming together, they birthed 12 of us, 9 girls and 3 boys. As anyone can imagine, having that many children came with its’ struggles but through it all, we’ve always had one another to lean on. Family means the world to me.

My father started a career in ministry but transitioned into working odd jobs to make ends meet for our very large family. Although he was a man of faith, he battled many demons of his own which resulted in him being an emotionally absent father. Even so, my father instilled in me a strong work ethic for which defined my masculinity.

I believe it to be in this atmosphere that God gave me a heart for men. Transitioning into adulthood and developing my own relationship with Christ, I found that there’s more to the definition of masculinity. God’s true definition of masculinity contains far more substance than the world led me to believe and what my earthly father taught me. I’ve also discovered that my experiences growing up were not an anomaly as so many men share similar backgrounds, and, as in the case with my dad, many of these men don’t have a safe community to voice these internal struggles.

Here at MCM, our mission is to bring men into a safe, godly community and cultivate an environment where men of God are encouraged to grow in relationship with Christ which,in turn, empowers men to represent Christ amongst their brothers, within their families, and throughout their communities. We’re believing that you’ll join us in this mission. Join us in the fight for our lost brethren. Join us in the fight for our families. Join us in the fight for our communities.

Thank you for visiting. We hope to be working with you soon. God Bless.
